I've heard that MCSO has been ticketing people that go shooting off of I-10 and Watson since that whole area became Skyline regional park. Was just out in south Rainbow Valley yesterday shooting a Bluegrass Armory XL50. No problems out there.

Where abouts in Rainbow valley can you shoot? I go down there every couple of months for the rocket launches (Of Rainbow Valley and Chandler heights rd)

Ironwood Forest is now officially closed by the BLM.

I live in surprise near the surprise baseball stadium. I've heard of places off sun valley parkway. Any suggestions off that road? Or anywhere close by ?

So many places get closed because of irresponsible shooters trashing the area, to the point that most people that have a shooting spot are going to be hesitant to share it, because the same will happen to their place.
Having only 1 post on the forum doesn't help getting the answer you want.

No apology necessary....I just thought I would give you a heads up on why you might hear crickets........generally speaking, i think that there are more options for you west side dwellers than us east-siders...it is really scarce over here.

Anyone know if the Table Mesa areas are available right now? I was up there about a month ago and it was closed for fire safety, but we have had enough rain lately to hopefully open it up.

I remeber driving east on 60 towards gold conyon and made a left at marker 280, then drive another about 10-12 miles. You would need a truck no car can make the trip due to rough terrain. but that was years ago. This october taking vacation and would like to find a place to shot shot gun mostly. Any ideas where there is a outdoor shooting area. Any input will be appreciated.
