boss and i had a great time today.
got there around ten or so. did a quick walk through to see what was going on. ended up starting it off at a little show. guy was showing kids how to spin a rope. he then went into twirling six shooters, snapping bullwhips, throwing knives at a woman spinning on a wheel.
the best was his horse Lucky Joe. Lucky Joe won the boss's heart.
watched the gunslinger contest ( now that was fun to watch ).
best part was they had too many shooters for one stage of the comp so they needed to do a one shot contest with youths. three youths were made up of two boys and one tiny little petite girl. the girl won and as she strutted off she says, to the other youth boys, "good job boys".
had some good pulled pork and beef brisket for lunch.

finished at the riders shooting the balloons running at a full gallop ( friggn amazing ).
boss is putting it on the calander for next year

.
edit: forgot to mention the great costumes people were wearing. i thought it was watching "The Rifleman" first hand on the set.
