I meant non resident permit. I figured it would be easier outside sin city. I'll have to look into classes in Laughlin and applying there.

UPDATE TO CLARK COUNTY (LAS VEGAS) HANDGUN REGISTRATION

In 2009, the law was changed. Non residents do not need to register their handguns in Clark County.

You can take your CCW class in Vegas / Clark County and don’t have to register the firearms on your permit or any other firearms. This saves time and for some people the anxiety of registration.

With my first Nevada CFP in 2004, they had to issue in 120 days and had a reputation of waiting till the last minute to mail it. That one took 109 days to mail and expired in 3 years. Now the permits are good for 5 years from date of issue and they have a reputation for issuing in 30-40 days. My DEC09 permit was issued in 3 weeks.

CCW applies only to carrying on your person......nothing to do with a holstered pistol in your vehicle.

Celebration of the Resurrection was last week; you're late!

Going to Laughlin for a weekend trip, looked over the NRS section & couldn't find the correct title that covers having a firearm (pistol) in the car for travel & Not on me as mentioned the AZ CCW doesn't matter.

Can anyone point me to the direct location?
