At the end of May last year I paid 4000.00 to AZ Tactical Firearms in Tempe for an MAC11 with Supressor. When last I spoke to them I was told it is, "on order". Today I heard a rumor that they are out of business, with the owner having IRS problems.
Does anyone know anything about this? Did I just loose 4K?

Did you ever sign a set of ATF Form 4s?
I would try and contact Ron Uthe directly.

As Tim said, did you send off Form 4s and $400 to the ATF?

I never got that far. When ever I called or stopped by, the message I would get was that the items were, "on order". So there has never been a weapon with serial numbers against which I could process the forms. It sounds like the suggestion here is to try to contact the owner and see if there is any chance of still obtaining the weapon. Is that correct? Now the problem becomes how to contact him when his store is closed. I'll need to do some research.
Thank you both for the thoughts.

Try to get your money back ASAP. There are no MACs "on order", as they were all manufactured before 1986. This sounds shady from the start.

And yes, they are apparently under new ownership. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=148878
