Ok guys, I have a choice to make but I figured I'd ask opinions before dropping a grand or so. I am going to purchase a 9mm AR15 and have narrowed my options to either the Olympic Arms K9 or the Lone Wolf G9 (I want to use Glock mags). So I emailed Lone Wolf and they will be shipping their backordered lowers in a few weeks (after the shot show he said) and they seem to have pretty good feedback and reviews. I can't find too many reviews on the Olympic Arms though other than on youtube.

I mainly want to be able put hollowpoints though it also (which Lone Wolf displays it can do).

As far as the pricing goes, after shipping and transfer, the
G9 would be about $1040 ish (but of course wait for the lower to arrive)
K9 would be about $910 ( $895 w/free shipping from the gunsource) and $10 transfer at QD

It sucks I can't hold one to compare, experiences?
What do you guys think about each one?

If it were me I'd probably go with the RRA LAR-9 for my lower. If you're dead set on getting a lower that accepts Glock factory magazines then it appears as if the G9 is your only option. I may be wrong on that, someone else should chime in soon. If memory serves I believe the Kel Tec Sub 2000 utilizes factory Glock magazines as well. The Olympic Arms K9 utilizes glock mags as well, that's why I chose the G9 or K9. I looked at others options such as the RRA, but frankly the Glock mags are a lot easier accessible than the modified Uzi or Sten versions. The Keltec does use Glock mags but I want to stay with the AR platform.

I guess that's why someone has these different options for mags.. the UZI mags take one simple cut....are battle proven. I'd want the 33 round Glock mags if I was buying what you are wanting. Good luck with your purchase.

Just go crazy: get the MGI 10mm lower using Glock 21 mags, mod some Kriss extensions to work for 33 rounders, and make a gas operated 16" barreled 9x25 Dillon. See how fast you can send an 88gr JHP downrange.

the 9x25 dillon was a no go... witnessed some of the failures w/ Rob Leatham's gun (I'm way old, damm sure was the loudest report I ever heard!!!), is this a "HA,HA"? .

I think that round has potential in a rifle, especially a locked breech setup.
