I heard of another Table Mesa Rd cleanup effort happening soon. Sept or Oct 2010. I'll try to post details if I can find them.

Actually, the next cleanup at Table Mesa will be on November 6th, 2010.

I have included a link to the cleanup thread:
http://www.arizonashooting.com/v3/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=118641

Also, for those of you on Facebook, there is a Table Mesa Cleanup page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Table-Mesa-Cleanup-Nov6/145644935469480

It would be great to see some responsible shooters out there, as most of the time, I only see the yahoos that are ruining the area for all of us.

I've been gone for a year is the Table Mesa area still open for shooting?

Yes but there are areas that are now closed to shooting provided you can read. They are well marked but some people think the signs were put there as targets. They will get the area shut down eventually.

For those of you who are off roaders, you maybe interested in attending a meeting this thursday July 26th. It is at sunrise mountian high school library. 21200 N 83rd ave. it starts at six. It's discussing the future of this area (table Mesa). They are requesting off roaders wear red shirts.

The idea is to be heard as they are trying to close it to off road use, quad use and shooting. Most of the shooting is gone, but some remains.
