Sorry all, I thought I had replied to everyone's PM's.

Last time we went to Four Peak all we had left to do was patch the walls and paint. It would be nice to get some new doors on the out houses but they are pricey.

I had a total of $60.00 in donations, which I put towards two toilet seats, a pair of simple locks and concrete patch (that I still have). Had lots of offers for labor but money is tight for everyone. Can't be upset with people taking care of their families first. If there is still interest, I am still willing to get up there with a few of ya but dollars is the key at this point.

Just curious, what ever happened with this? I'm down past Tucson from most of y'all, but I know that you can get cheap paint from the "OOPS" sections at Lowes and Home Depot, OR you can get it for free from the household hazardous waste program in Tucson (but not sure what it's called in Phoenix). The program only is open on Friday and Saturday 8 AM to Noon and the number is 520-888-6947 at 2440 W Sweetwater, Tucson (near Prince and I-10). Also, there's apparently a program in Gilbert too (some genius thought up the idea of mixing it into 3 "basic" colors though, dunno what that'd do to paint formulations and such) and an article is at http://www.azcentral.com/community/gilb ... enter.html

At any rate, hope that helps.

Any update? I'd be good for getting some paint, I work weekends though, so unless this was a weekday event I can't personally be there to help with the painting.

cant get into the bathroom area... they have it all fenced off and have some sugarrows inside the fence. but the bathrooms look alright at least from what i've seen.

I think they should post signs so people pick up their damn shells and trash. but i'm sure some idiot would shoot at that too... [smilie=icon_sad.gif]
