He's referring to the Schedule A-C forms. At least that's my thought.

Are you talking about the Schedules of a trust, or some Form? I seriously have absolutely no idea what you or he are talking about.

If he/you are referring to the schedules of a trust, what are B and C?

I agree with you that the process is somewhat muddied by a lot of misinformation. Some would say that that is intentional on the part of the BATFE to keep the idiots away. Only those with the time to research, understand, and correctly apply for a tax stamp get one. You have to admit that on some level, if that is truly the intention of the BATFE, it's really not a bad gameplan.

Just sayin'

No, I really really mean that! I was by no means disagreeing with you. It is a murky process. The BATFE does not make things entirely clear on Trusts and Corps. Maybe they don't like them at all, but the legal standing of Trusts and Corporations cannot really be challenged... or maybe it can... who knows? I just personally came to that conclusion after looking, like you, for over a YEAR for information on Trusts and NFA items and came across all the same things you did.

No point earned. ;) That is just my theory on the situation.

As promised, I wrote an excruciatingly detailed article on how to do this. Thanks go out to eodinert for helping me fine tune some details here and there and giving me an education on some things. I can't wait to buy my first goodie. It's my hope that this can help someone out. If there are any suggestions on how to improve this article, I'm more than happy to hear them and I'll make a change if need be. I'd really like this to be as perfect as possible. Thanks to AZEX for starting this thread and getting everyone thinking about this.

I was going to quickly post back that "now that is something I'm good at". Then I went and looked. I guess they don't want to make finding that out easy either.

Cool, thanks for the info. Going to contact the site owner and suggest some updates. The site is very useful but a bit dated.

Im still 20 and you need to be 21 to buy a suppressor... if I set up one of these trusts could I turn in my paperwork without being 21 since it is in the trusts name not mine?

I am pretty sure you have to be over 21.

ooooor, you could just come to me and tell me what you want and we take care of everything....

Not murky, misunderstood or difficult. Just money and waiting. That's all it takes.

Done hundreds, never had a single one returned.

Yes the trust could buy it, but I don’t think you can be in possession of it till your 21 so you would still be in violation of the law. Not sure of the actual wording of the law.
