Only 176 of these Smith Enterprise select-fire M14's were ever produced! I am lucky enough to own two of them.

First off I want to thank AZSKI for hosting my picture - One of these days I'll get my old web site up and running again. The weapon you see here is a Savage Arms 30 cal ANM2 aircraft machine gun. As far as I can tell it was built sometime in 1940. However I don't think it ever seen any action. By 1940, the air force was converting everything to 50 cal. This is a orginal C&R gun and all parts are orginal. It fires around 1300 rounds per minute and it empties the can real quick. Its mounted on a MG58 recoiling tripod. Soon it will be on a MG42 AA tripod. The sandbags are required at this rate of fire. I love belt-fed's. They are the most awesome MG's around.

Got some pics up on my WEB space up and running. Here is one from right to left - ANM2 30.06, 1919A4 308, 1919A6 30.06 and another ANM2 30.06. The A4 belongs to my son, the A6 and the ANM2 belong to a friend of mine.

Here is my new MG42 AA tripod with My ANM2.

Can't wait to give this guy a try.

A new toy
