Ug, they really want people to form trusts don't they?

It's pretty clear they are keeping a database of applicants and make/models of guns in the county.

If you ask, they will tell you they keep a copy of each and every one. Something about being asked if they signed a specific Form 4 or not when the ATF NFA branch called or calls.

Can you file an LLC for C3 items and have them owned under the LLC? Then you could have multiple "LLC Members" that would be able to use them?

Yes, but i believe there is a little more legal maneuvering to add/delete members of an LLC than a trust. I could be wrong?

I dropped off my application for a SBR at the PCSO office last Wednesday. There was the psuedo Form 1 that you had to fill out like before, but there is also another form that needs filled out as well. It's all about making a false statement and how they will take away your birthday if you make one. I gave the same info as I did before...It's really no big deal. I looked into a Trust, but the lawyer wanted wayyy more money than I thought it would be worth to do.

Submitted my paperwork to PCSO on Wed, Jan 04 2012. Got it in the mail on Thursday Jan 26 2012. If you're doing a Form 1 in Pima County, plan for an extra 3 weeks for PCSO to do their part. Nice that they mailed it to me, last time I just got a call to pick it up.

Got mine in the mail today, took about 3 weeks, didn't have SO form so had to fill that out a few days later. He was real helpful on the phone, lot simpler then I thought. Now getting it off to West Virginia and starting the final countdown.

Got mine in the mail today. Submitted on 16 May 2012 - Received via USPS 15 June 2012. Not too shabby Sherriff Dupnik! Now for the looong ATF wait.
